Restroom Accessibility Reimagined: Designing for Neurodiversity
Restrooms are some of the most universally used spaces—and some of the most overlooked when it comes to true accessibility. Our three-part series will include an in-person roundtable, a virtual expert panel, and a CEU lecture discussing the design practices behind the accessibility of these spaces.
Time & Location

About The Event
Come and join an interactive discussion on the design challenges of restrooms in our three-part of our Neurodiversity Series.
PART ONE: Interactive Round Table
PART TWO: Expert Panel Discussion (Virtual)
PART THREE: Findings & Future Direction
Restrooms are some of the most universally used spaces—and some of the most overlooked when it comes to true accessibility. This three-part educational series challenges conventional design thinking by uncovering the hidden barriers neurodivergent individuals face in these environments.
Through open dialogue, clinical perspectives, and research-driven insights, participants will rethink what “accessible” really means and walk away with practical, cost-effective design strategies that make a measurable difference. The result: spaces that transcend basic requirements to deliver a more human-centered experience
